Difference between an x-ring and o-ring chain, is the extra cash worth it?

Really random thought but i came across an "x-ring" chain and had never heard of them, did some looking up and it appears they have higher tensile strength and less friction? Anybody used one? Is it worth the extra money to buy the one that will last longer.... does it?

Thanks ahead of time!

Changed my stock chain for an o-ring one but will be replacing that chain and rear sprocket in a couple of weeks. Therefore can anyone recommend a good supplier of X -ring aftermarket chain etc in the UK?and, how much we talking about regarding differences in costs of both? not that that's an issue but don't want to be ripped off.
