I just converted my faired fz6 to naked with the headlight assembly swap. Love the look!!
Now I am looking for more of a aggressive riding position. I saw a few options on this forum and @ the fz6 forum. However, they are all reviews for the faired fz6 setup.
The two options I am considering are cbr1100xx clipons and convertibars. I will be installing either one under the triple clamp.
1) Are there any issues with tank clearance or locking mechanism with cbr1100xx clipons?
2) Has anyone tried the convertibars w/o the plastics? How low and forward can they go from stock without tank clearance? I am not considering the locking issues as I could raise the left bar if its (30 seconds or so).
