I have searched far and wide on my FZ6 for my engine number and every number i find and send to the DMV gets turned down... where is the engine number located on a 2007 fz6? Ugh...

Think it's on the rear of the engine in front of the rear shock.

usually on a Yamaha the engine number is the unit primary ID. it is a dirivitive of the VIN. You may notice how that works by comparing the two numbers.

The DMV here in Minnesota requires the engine number and vin... was stupid as heck seeing as how the DMV couldn't even tell me where to find the darn number. But i <3 you guys!!!
