BT-003 RS Question

The Aspect Ratio equals the height divided by the width times 100.

You're using 003s on the streets?

This is the size chart from the Bridgestone website.

I am using BT-003 now, but I found out that there were 2 different sizes?
What's the difference between the 120 front tyres?
And which one is better for our bike?

I am using the 120/70 one.

I have the 120/70 on my black FZ6...that is the right size.

And the problem with that is?

it is 003 Racing Street that i am using.

I have to change my tyre soon anyway, any suggestions?

I have tried Michelins Pilot Power 2ct's, Michelin Pilot Road 2ct's, Dunlop Qualifier RR's, Conti Sport Attack's, and the BT003RS's, on my FZ6, have found the BT003RS's are by far the best....awesome grip! awesome feedback, they dont let go when they start to squirm, they last a fair while...bout 5000km's...they warm up quickly, even on cold roads...and when they are cold, they dont give you "moments"...

Best tyre ever for the sporting FZ6 rider....just cant recommend them enough!!!

In fact, i put a new BT003RS on the rear last week, and today, i am getting a new BTOO3RS on the front, today!

I use a 120/60 on my front as it helps to clear the R6 fender. I actually like it more than the 120/70 as I have faster turn in but I do have to lean more on corners.

A problem? I have no problems... ppl can put whatever tire they want on their bike, I couldn't care less.

Personally I don't think anyone needs race tires (they're effectively race tires that they made street-legal) on the streets, that's all.
- very poor mileage
- more grip than ever necessary (especially on an FZ6)
- stiff sidewalls
- slower to heat up
- usually, the more grip, the more $$$

But then again, I've seen ppl with slicks out there on the streets, and I am sure they would report the same thing you did about your 003s... no grip issues for sure!
To each their own.

LOL. I just put on a set to replace my worn out Power Pures, which left me unimpressed, to say the least.

I used them for my track day on the FZ6, so I knew how good they are, but maaaannn!....It's so sweet to have them on the bike again. Could ride up a tree with these babies on:BLAA:. Definitely no grip issues:D:cheer:.

I'm not seeing the usual tire scuffing in the heavy wear zone now, 'cause they don't spin up with the extra stickiness and the new rear shock, so I think I might get a surprising amount of wear out of them.
