I've had a '87 sportster for about 12 years now and some time ago the transmission went ka-boink and so last summer I put it in the shop and 1800 bucks later and almost a year of payments, I finally got to ride it home today. The shop is 115 miles away and I honestly forgot what a rattling, vibrating uncomfortable beast it was. I have been spoiled by the STOCK FZ6 seat! There is almost NO comparason in comfort! UG!!! After only 20 miles my arse and lower half was completely numb! Im just glad my main bike is the soft squishy FZ6!
. a friend of a friend has a fat bob springer which cost him a fortune. its a nice looking beast i admit but when he fired it up you could see it rattle itself!
