That's the New River Bridge isn't it? I did a raft trip where we got out of the rafts under the bridge! Really nice area. I'm pea-green with envy! Rich :rockon:

Yeah it is about 35 minutes or so from my house and about 45 minutes in the opposite direction is Snowshoe. I grew up with Elk river in my back yard (literally) and we would white water raft all the time growing up using home made rafts and inner tubes and what ever else we had that would float lol.

Does that river have a section called "the wall"? It was a huge, vertical flat rock on the left side. It might be the same river I went rafting at for my class trip for my MK A school.

Nice bike. I picked up my 98 last year and it's a lot of fun. I've since added an Acerbis tank, and a Manracks rack with an older JCW top case. I've got a set of GS750ES wheels to eventually have a set of 'tard wheels to swap out.

Looks great, I wish it had about 20 more hp but I do love that 6sp
