My bike will not start by simply pulling the clutch in anymore. It will only start i I put it in neutral. This issue started after it got towed a few days ago.

When I got on the bike at the impound it didn't work and I knew something was wrong, but then I put it in neutral and it started. Then I turned it off and tried starting it in gear again and it worked. But it hasn't worked since.:(

Check the kickstand switch.. ALso there may be two little prong connections up at the clutch lever, check those too. Not sure if the FZ6 has them or not.

Doesn't sound like a kickstand issue, but there has to be a sensor somewhere along the clutch line that yells the bike it can start, right? Why did you have it towed?

Edit: maybe your shifter falling off has something to do with it? http://www.600riders.com/forum/showthread.php?p=525790
