Base Decals

I'll be getting my FZ this week and I am curious where those whom must have a military or other required decal on the bike. My state inspection sticker is on the left top fork and most military bases want the decal visible and attached to the bike.

What branch are you in? The Air Force quit requiring decals on all vehicles just a couple months before I got my bike.

Unfortunately, now I have to stop, show my ID and my MSF card, and satisfy the TSA-Wannabe gate guard that my coat is "contrasty" (all black jackets need not apply...)

Army and I still must do those things too but , I need to put the darn decal somewhere visible.

I just put mine on the fork. There was no other solution at the time. I'd be interested in seeing how and where you put the plate once you get it. Here's a picture of how mine looks (front left fork). I dont like it there, but not much other choice.
