I had a thing for Chrissie Amphlet when I was a young fella. I was at the Australian Made concert at Cronulla when I was 12.
I was up the front hangin out with a few older kids when she came on stage in a school uniform & flashed the crowd.
It was certainly an eye opener for me & corrupted my young mind.................................................... in a good way

Well, Mike's just told me he too was at the same Cronulla concert, many, many, many years ago

He snuck in under the fence around by the mangroves, which was their little spot where they used to sneak in and see the Sharkies for free.

As for this thread, this is as the infamous Austin Powers could say "80's Aussie Rock is my bag, Baby!"

In fact, being a DJ, and being one of Adelaide's "big" rock DJ's back in the day, i got to play lots and lots of gigs with Aussie Crawl, Mondo Rock, The Angels, Bloody Barnesy and crew!, The Mullanes....what crowded house was before it was crowded house! Pseudo Echo, Dragon, Eurogliders, Colin Hay, Noiseworks, Chain!, Divinyls, and on and on.....As i was DJ at Adelaide's biggest rock gigs at the Venue, The Front Page, The Bridgeway, The Colonnades Tavern, Night Train, back in those days!!!

My favourite band of this era, has to be the mighty INXS.....Micheal Hutchence....one of my idols!

So without any further ado, i am about to get stuck in....

I especially like early INXS...before they became magastars.....and one of my favourite albums ever is the classic, "Shabooh Shabaah"....

I have seen INXS 27 times....but not since Michael passed!
