I paid 6500€ for my Fazer on September of 2014, but she was in mint condition (0 km's) it was brand new and no license plate... Can't be of any help.

But around here the 2009 are selling above 4000€ with more than 10.000km's, but with some extras and no cosmetic damage.

If it was me, I would remove the frame sliders, fix the cosmetics and do the oil change... Also putting some cheap tyres wouldn't be a bad idea.

I'd take $3200. The replacement of the plastic parts is pretty easy, and you can sand and paint the stator cover pretty easily. However, if he thinks it's a "major crash," that will be in his head even if you replace the blemished parts, and will probably not come off his price very much.

Personally I hate cheap tires on anything, even if they're new. If he's not bargaining on the tires, I wouldn't replace them, just account for a discount of the price to reflect the tires.
