'06 FZ6 Blaze Sport Saddlebags compatibility?

I have a 2006 FZ6 and i was interested in the Blaze sport soft saddle bags but they are listed as compatible with the '07-'11. Does anyone know if these bags would be compatible with my '06? I'm not sure how much the fz6 really changed from '06 to '07 so i just wanted to ask to make sure.

I just emailed twisted throttle customer service the same question so hopefully someone will be able to help.

Pretty sure the blaze system attaches where the rear passenger peg hangers are bolted to the 07-09 subframe, and the 04-06 models have the hangers welded to the subframe.

I've got a helmet lock right there where they are supposed to mount. Not sure if that will cause a problem or not. Was looking a cooking up a homebrew system to use with my motocentric bags (when they get here....may not need it).
