I just looked at mine from the side and by "feel", the top part of the frame.
It has the same slight offset, the roundish part of the upper frame, maybe, 005" difference, maybe a little more on the top edge.
BTW, I bought the bike from the original owner (friend-his sons first bike). It was dropped on both sides but never any ft end-forks/frame (short of the fairing stay getting slightly bent, .75") damage, mostly fairing damage, side pod, fuel tank.
I know the shop that fixed it the first time, I fixed it the second time. At no time was the triple or frame taken apart (I know that as fact), original head bearings too.
IMO, your bike is fine (Re the casting and slight offset is NORMAL), unless its pulling while underway or something else, go ride and enjoy!
