    Scorpion EVO-400?

I've got it. its a good helmet. A bit noisier than My Shoie RF-1000 but not much. With ear plugs its great. The shield mechanism is a cinch.

    Heated Hand Grips

The Suzuki Hand guard has been used in the FJR community. You might try a set of those from the Suzuki dealer if he'll let you bring them back if they don't fit.

I've been down at 55 and 70 mph and didn't get a scratch either time. I'll say it again ATGATT. Glenn People who ride in flip flops and a wife beater get exactly what they deserve.

    Heated Hand Grips

One other thing you can do to help when it gets cold is hand guards. They aren't aesthetically too pleasing but they definitely help block the cold air effectively making the wind chill a moot point.

    Throttle Body adjustment

The throttlebody adjustment is a relatively easy procedure if you have a motion pro carb stick. It takes abotu 30 minutes the first time and 15 thereafter. I think you'll find the bike may be a bit smoother after the synch.

    Anyone use/recommend a Cruise Control?

I have a Throttlemiester on my FJR and like it real well but it can be a bit awkward to set until you get used to it. It holds the speed well on level surfaces but will slow a bit going up hill and speed up a bit going down hill. Same with the Vista Cruise and the NEP throttle lock. The...
