My plug caps aren't as tight a grouping in terms of ohm resistance, so I matched up the closest ones on 1-4 and the other closest on 2-3. No difference. Also drained a tiny bit of oil (read on sportbikes.net that some people had some success running at 3/4 oil (as read on the dipstick). No change.

Will this fit an '07? I assume i'd need to delete the cat, correct?

Final, you said you verified the new coils could jump a 0.04 gap, are you talking about the spark plugs gap? I thought or gap was closer to 0.024-0.028

Oh I thought you meant new, aftermarket ones. You mean used ones from an 06

omg...which ebay set did you buy? and did you indeed mean they are for a 2006 or did you mean 2008?

Some of the mounts were under spec. i put them to 41ft lbs. Marginal difference, not sure if there was a placebo effect or not. So I'm still open to suggestions ;)
