Not sure how you get there in reaction to this video - (any) trousers, (any) shoes and (any) gloves and this guy would have been uninjured. Sure, gear doesn't make you immortal, we all know that.
As for this guy, I think he got off incredibly lightly, rolling instead of sliding - if he doesn't...
Have you done the sensible checks - tyre pressure, tyre wear, headstock bearings, wheel alignment? All those will affect turn in and cornering behaviour. As for keeping pressure on the "inside" bar, that'll only encourage tipping into the corner (it's counter steering). Body position maybe? I...
Glad you've got that sorted, do be sure to check the headstock bearings though, that click on stopping will almost certainly be play. With a little care and fiddling about you can do it with the fairing and all in place - the bottom bearing seems to collect a bit of water in our climate, and...
Never thought about it, I'll have a looksee over the next days. My priorities were to have the cases as close in as possible, and as far forward as possible without fouling the passenger pegs. I also didn't want to mess with the indicators 'cause then it looks silly with the cases off.

There you go, two existing fixing points on the subframe, two at the pegs. Plenty strong :)
Just to go back to the OP's issue, and solution - I've had the very same thing recently, horrible vibes through the bars at anything over 95mph - had the wheel balanced (twice), then at the MOT they said my headstock bearings needed tightening. I was sceptical as it it didn't feel wobbly, but I...
Like you I thought I'd made a terrible mistake after buying the fazer. The clutch IS difficult, and the seat DOES take some getting used to. I reduced the sweep on the bars (with a scaffold pole, I too was out of budget),which made a world of difference. It changes your seating position, and...
No, you're not the only one. The bike does sound nice (deeper, not louder) with scorpions, but the ratio bike value v exhaust price keeps it off my list until I find some really cheap second hand
(As I know you know) in that bend you shouldn't be anywhere near the rings anyway, you should be to the right to see as far through the bend as possible (as the camera is), and the rings stop when the view opens up. The article says that after a year of observations they have found that 95% or...
