    Double down shift

Something I have learned is that when there are shifting issues, half the time they can be resolved with an oil change. Both the transmission and clutch pack are lubricated by the engine oil. On a low mileage bike the motor and clutch are still shedding grits faster than normal and this can...

Got FZ dyno numbers tonight. Max HP and Topspeed

Last year I got 89 HP on the dyno bone stock and have seen 153 mph several times at a local airstrip. Stock gearing and all. It just takews a while to get there. Just my 2 cents.

Has your bike ever hit the ground?

Got to watch mine throw sparks for 150 feet and stop without me on the back at the limit line to an intersection:eek: I was warming it up and it fell on the other side because it vibrated its way off the side stand. I must not have had it all the way down and forward. Hey Wavex, how many has...

    What's in a forum name?

I had an 1987 Chevy K5 Blazer that I drove on the trails in the mountains near here. It has been my e-mail and various forum name for over 10 years now. I should sue GM for stealing my name and slapping it on one of their suvs.:spank:

I'm a pissed off mutant inbred!

Well that explains why my dentist can not make me numb for any dental work. It sucks when local anesthesia doesn't work and you just have to grin and bear it.

I am done with this state!

To begin, I am in a semi intoxicated state, thanks to Coney Island Brewing Company and and a Belgian Tripel earlier. (Thank God for spell check) Now for the rant.... For those of you who may not know I live in the center of Central California, about 20 miles from the geographic center of...

    ZX-14 vs FZ6

My cousin has a ZX-14, in a straight it is pointless to try and keep up. When we are in the mountains I pull away easily in the curves. He dropped it while trying to keep up. Now I have a couple of friends with ZX-10's and they run away from me every time even in the curves.
