Hard to find any PR2's anymore... I heard that the PR3's are a little squirmy, the PR4's are supposedly better, but I don't like the look of em and hardly ever ride in the rain.
There's 15k KMs on em and they're still going. They also perform so well, cold and hot.
When it's time, I'm thinking of just replacing them with the same, but I hear that the manufacturer OEM D252 has better rubber than the ones you buy through regulars shops and they don't last long at all :(...
Yesterday I had issues shifting down from 3rd to 2nd & 1st. I did a lot of riding this weekend and on the last day the bike mostly refused to shift down. The oil was changed 4k KMs ago, so maybe it needs to be changed, but it still should be fine. All that has been used in the bike is Motul...
I'm similar, like to live at high revs or going to high revs when flying through the gears.
I'd be interested to know why your mechanic stays away from Motul 7100, because the previous owner of my bike, his mechanics using nothing but 7100 and they actually build engines for semi-pro racers.
Yea, sounds like the first one and many of my buds are saying don't worry about it, it's Yamatick. My phone mic really amplified the sounds, so it seems worse on camera than it really is. When engine warms up and I'm riding it for a while it almost goes away completely and can hardly be heard...
