indeed, I wasn't expecting a front slide at the begining of the braking zone neither. especially with dry condition. maybe I wasn't as straight than I thought.
it's the second time this kind of thing happen to me. unfortunatly for me, the first time my FZ6 went into the grass, makes lot of...
the common mistake in winter riding is trying to make a top chrono at 3°C.
Even the 5 lap warm up was not sufficient to have tires at the right temperature.
I blocked the front wheel just before starting my first fast lap. hopefully, rider in front was far enough not to get in the bike...
One of a dream I had for a long time was to make a lap on the nordschleife, nurburgring historical racetrack.
This track id pretty singular : 21 km long, 73 curves, up tu 17% slope, and open to every street legal vehicule (car, motorcycle, motorhome, bus ...)
The trip for paris is 6h00...

But I also have to admit, owning a nice R1 would also feel very good

After two laps of great fun racing against a 750cc gsxr, I loose the rear (at 3mn in the video).
Hopefully, there was only esthetical damage, I even could do one more series after removing all gravel from the bike.
My first guess is a...
thx !

And wet condition is a good way to improve riding smoothness. But I agree it's not wise to do it with road tires...
The lack of concentration is unforgivable in wet conditions.
It was my 28th lap (we were only 4 riders so it was "open track", no limited round), The fatigue began to be felt, my finger started to freez (4°C this rainy sunday), just missed my braking mark, forcing me to brake harder.
My front...
