    Headlights and front indicators failed

Just been out in the garage, stripped the faring off, checked relays and fuses.... all ok. So i start to wiggle the 2 multi plugs up front on the left hand side... bingo ! I managed to recreate the fault !. Upon closer inspection i found all the pins were corroded !. Gave them a file/clean...

Today on the way home.... IN THE DARK !!!, my headlights, sidelights and front indicators just stopped working. The full beam dash light (blue one) came on and stayed on until the headlights and front indicators just started working again  Rear tail light, brake light and rear...

    Uneven Front Tyre Wear

My forks were knackered so it'll probably be that. I've rebuilt them now, new springs (both), seals and fresh oil  Thanks all

    Uneven Front Tyre Wear

Hi all, During my last MOT they advised that my front tyre had uneven wear on it. I can see that the left side of the tyre has like flat spots. I'll try and get a pic soon. What would cause uneven wear on the front tyre ?

Guess what i've been up to this afternoon.....

The brake calipers aren't iron, they're aluminium. The slider pins are steel.

The other brake caliper didn't break with the same torque wrench

Guess what i've been up to this afternoon.....

Nope, no vice. I did all the work on my bench while it was loose. No clamps or anything. It doesn't bolt to anything. Its for the slider pins.

Guess what i've been up to this afternoon.....

There wasn't any grease on the threads before, that's come from the slider pin as i pulled it out.

Guess what i've been up to this afternoon.....

I did give it a little clean with a brush and some brake cleaner.... obviously not enough for some ;) I also cleaned the pistons and gave it a good blow with the air compressor. Nope, didn't drop it. It just broke as i was tightening it up to 40nm.
