I really should be at this race!

Qualifying 2:

Not who I expected to be on the front row! Well, except for Marquez.

LOL! I like Bautista and I'm sure the other riders do too when he's not taking them out. Him and Espargaro are doing really well at the moment, and well done for Bradl for taking pole in qualifiers.

Looks like a good chance for Rossi to win this race.

Very possible. He's on pace with his times this weekend. Often Rossi is not necessarily the fastest during a race, but he is able to manage a race well and exploit mistakes of others (see Laguna Seca 2008). He can also brake very late in corners and sneak past a faster rider. However, if Marquez is able to pull away in the beginning, then it's all over :)

Whew. I'm new to MotoGP so you experts may feel differently, but I thought this race was amazing. I was shouting at the screen as if the riders could hear me. I don't want to be the one to spoil it if you haven't seen it, but the Nicky Haden parts of the coverage were some of my favorites.

Thanks for the video link Motogiro, I just wasted another half hour on YouTube watching interviews. Okay, it's not really a waste. :D

Well, the young whipper-snapper took the prize again! And there was a nice nod to the 2008 "Corkscrew Incident", this time between Rossi and Marquez. Props to Bradl for holding on for second!

Check THIS out!

Premeditated move?

He had no grip all weekend. And yes, it's definitely a Honda track.

Definitely... Even Bautista had pace to overtake Rossi... I think he was very cautious, cuz he already took the doctor out this year.... Pedrosa and Lorenzo don't count, cuz they are injured (Especially Lorenzo)...

I was at the race and took a bunch of pics if anyone is interested. The first half or so are various bikes on display on the infield.

I'm not sure if you are able to view all of my folders in there, but there are a few hundred pics from Motegi in 2012 also.

Heh They had a couple FZ-09s on display and one FZ8, FZ1 and FZ6R. Would've been nice to see a regular 6 there also but time goes on. I really liked the Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC!
