Picked up my blue 06 FZ6 stock for $3500, but with about 16k on it. Seems like you got a better deal. Still...it was in pristine condition. A few hundred more for some decent tires & I was set. No complaints!! It's a great bike

I was looking for a 650r when I found the FZ. So glad I found it instead of 650r. Much better fit for me.

I paid $4500 for my '04 back in summer of 2006.
I just saw a brand new leftover 2009 FZ6 (not R) for $6250. It's tempting but I think I'm going with a used one.

Bought an '05 in February for $3,300. Had 13K miles on it when I got it. It was in perfect condition and included frame sliders. Now have 24K miles on it and not a single problem to date.

My 2008 Fz6 I won on an ebay auction for $3100 and spent $575 to get it shipped and $200 for tag/title when it got here. It was a 9/10 condition. Too bad I crashed it, but I'm glad I got such a good deal as the difference allowed me to jump up to an Fz1.

I paid AU$5K for a 7000 km/4350 Mi 06 FZ6 N. It was in slightly neglected condition, but I put that right with some TLC and new tyres. She's a bargain by Aussie standards.

I paid 5000.00 this year past for a 2008 FZ6 with 2400KM,just spent 669.00 on Leo's,90.00 on Puig windscreen,25.00 Fender Eliminator and 35.00 on 2 wheels levers,All and all around 6K,I don't think that was too bad
