Oh man. How many people are going? It would be Lefty, Chem, and me riding down together on Friday? What time would we leave on Friday?

We haven't ironed anything out, but were thinking of leaving early Friday morning and slabbing it down on I5 just to get there. We are going to plan for some fun roads on the way back on Sunday, but again, no firm plans yet.

Chemiker and I are having lunch next Tuesday to discuss details about the ride down and back. We're thinking about just slabbing it down on Friday to beat some of the Friday night rush hour traffic but for the ride home we're open to suggestions for a more enthusiastic ride back north on Sunday. Tailgate is coming down later on Friday to join us in SoCal but wants to ride back with us on Sunday. Your input on the route back would be greatly appreciated! I'm so ramped up for this ride. :BLAA:

There is about a 30% chance I'll be going. I've already committed to watching a friend's dog that weekend and this is a very busy time of year for me (work-wise). But I really want to go.....so I might.

I won't know for sure what exact time my NASA liftoff will be on Friday. But, it will be an exiting (wanna get away!) I-5 run down
