Ok,- so I got the Frame Cap Alu from Yamaha.
Well to be honest I got 2 ....,- I figured I needed one for each side of the bike .....
BUT:
The Frame Cap Alu from Yamaha only fits the right side .........

Anyone knows if there's anything available out there for the left side?

Edit: Pic of the right-side one from Yamaha:

that definitely makes the right side look a lot better, have you contacted them to see if they have anything for the left side?

That makes it look better and cleaner. By chance what part number is that?
And how much was it?
I may stop by my local dealer to pick one up in black.

Could you possibly take and post a pic of the other side of the cap. Wondering if you could grind the sides that fit into the hole that has the non-round shape. MUCH appreciated if possible. thanks

Nice idea. We need someone with access to a machine shop who can buy a shedload of Yamaha caps and sell sets of 'em to us that fit both sides. In fact, I bet it would be even cheaper with large numbers to just manufacture them from scratch! :)

any info or pictures on how that actually attach's to the bike?? thanks for the pic above :)

The mounting is quite simple.

In the set you find:

1 Cap (See photos)
1 O-ring (Fitted on the cap in the photos)
1 Raw Pluck (Yes you read it right)
1 threaded rod.

To install:
1. Insert the raw pluck in the hole.
2. Fit the o-ring on the cap.
3. Screw the rod into the cap (center hole backside)
4. Screw the cap/rod into the raw pluck till tight.

I cant easily get the rod out of the raw pluck any more, but here is a picture of the raw pluck mounted with the rod. (When you remove the cap after initial installation, the cap unscrews from the rod).
Should give you an general idea:

Perhaps it would be a job for luckyirishboy209? He does the Foot Pegs in Aluminium already ........

Would be really cool if they were made with "FZ6-FORUM" CNC'ed into em

Thanks for the info Fz6Sa!

I bit the bullet and ordered one up today. $40.99 CDN - 1 week for delivery.

Pricey for what it is.....but that can be said for most mod parts! (just don't tell the wife!)

I forget where I heard it, but I heard that a company called JSpeed is supposed to be developing a set of swing arm plugs for the FZ6. The left side is already notched to fit the frame. I havent seen anything on their website yet, but I'll keep lookin.
