Hi, I am hoping some one out there might be able to help a girl out. :D

I have a 2005 Yamaha FZ6 and it's looking like I need to replace the chain and probably the sprockets. The thing is I really don't want to have to pay a shop $300.00 for parts and labour.

I am fully willing to get dirty! Have my bikes service manual

However that's all I have. :banghead:

Is there any one out there in the Vancouver area who might have some time, tools, and some wisdom to share?

Or even any advise as to what shop to go to if that's my only option? As I am new to Vancouver and am basically a complete Newbie to the area.

THANK YOU!!

All you have to do is do a little searching in the search tab.

There is a "How To" area on the forum. Here's one of the links on how to repalce the chain. It's a video, but it won't do you any good if you don't have the tools. But there are plenty of FZ6 owners in the Vancouver area. Admin who's a helicopter mechanic who has plenty of tools, Boneman who's also a motorcycle safety instructor, so it's his duty to help you. Just send them a PM.
