Here's a tip to anyone who never bought a killernoodle modded clutch slave arm and doesn't want to make their own. The FZ-07 arm is exactly 10mm longer than the FZ6 arm and works perfectly as a direct replacement. Easier pull, extended friction zone, cheap, and looks like it belongs there. The part number is 1WS-16340-00-00 and it can be had for quite cheap. A comparison picture has been added. Enjoy!

I've ordered one already, the part# is good. Hope it is an improvement, seems logical, we'll see, thanks Mr. User

Re: To Anyone Who Needs A Clutch Slave Arm

Both your posts are EXTREMELY helpful, thank you.

That arm was the main part of the KN mod which was very popular.
Having a factory part, doing the same thing is even better!

As for where to post, admin will eventually move it to the appropriate area. (Your fine)

**I'd suggest to admin to make this a "STICKY" in the mod section.***

And Tom, if you can post how well the angle of the cable, pull, line-ment marks, etc is once installed
would be appreciated.. (I already have one in my cart for my next big order)

Re: To Anyone Who Needs A Clutch Slave Arm

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure everyone got to see it. When I first got my bike and found that I hated the friction zone, I was looking for a solution right away. I eventually searched several parts diagrams on Partzilla and took a chance on this arm and it paid off.

As far as the angle, I inserted a stout screwdriver and tweaked the angle of the cable hanger. If left as is, it will make the inner cable rub slightly. I ran it at that angle for a while and it didn't hurt my cable. As for the pull, it's certainly easier on the hand muscles. It seems the friction zone will always be late in the release, but with this arm, the friction zone is wider.

I ordered one yesterday, but it's apparently backordered. :(
