08 FZ6 Dual headlight kit -where to buy?

I been reading the threads on the dual headlight mod. I see there was a kit sold. I am looking to see where I can buy that kit?

I was seeing if there was a list of parts that I would need if there was a wayto have both lights low/high beam? I saw some you tube videos.

There was a "BD43" kit made quite awhile ago.

It basically runs one wire from the starboard (right) side of the un-used headlight bulb terminal to
a harness connector under the battery tray... That harness plug is also unused.

I don't have a picture of that harness and the terminal where it would attach.

Someone here will likely post a pic of the location. You would only need two terminals
(head light and the harness plug) along with wire to make your own. There would be NO
cutting/hacking up the harness/wiring..

A quick search shows the original thread from the designer along with spec's:

In another post, I mentioned the left handlebar switch where the high/low beam switch resides. I also talked about the connector from the left handlebar switch mating to the wiring harness on the frame side that wanders off to the lights, horn, etc...

thank you. I did a search and it looks like he has not been on in a while. I don’t do well with soldering.

If you use the proper crimp connector, I don't think you need to soldier anything.

Good to know. I see that 14 GA wire is suggested. What are the connectors needed?

Whatever you like. A butt connector is fine, or spades if you feel it will need to be disconnected for some reason. When I use spades I gender them.

No plan to disconnect it. What size butt connector?

The harness, under the battery box takes the small, thin terminals (see below).

If using other connectors, you'll be hacking up the harness to plug in.
