First, apologies for having been off the grid for so long. I'm not the forum/internet person I once was. Really great seeing familiar names still posting here.
I'm looking for the front brake switch part number. Google searches pulls up eBay links and I would prefer to order from Amazon or...
I just got back from a two week vacation in Florida. Rode my dad's bikes and it reconfirmed my feelings... I'd rather freeze in hills/turns/scenery than get more open/straight/boring roads. Quality over quantity.
At my old house, I employed the horn-wife method for opening the door. There is too much distance for this to work at the new place so I put an old opener in my tank bag. This worked well enough but I wasn't satisfied.
Without further ado, I present the sleeper opener.
Here's a clip of...
I'm surprised at the reactions here. What the officer did was absolutely unsafe. Had the rider done what he was supposed to do by law and got over to the right, it could have ended very very badly. Moving at that clip, buy the time the rider could see the officer and move over, it may have...
It's a bad purchase for the reasons you mentioned.
It is -
not your color.
a waste. In the city, you'll be doing the speed limit in 0.5 seconds.
terribly inefficient.
not your desired bike.
It's only an amazing deal to someone who wants that bike.
I read your previous post after I submitted mine and understand where you're coming from. You seem like a level-headed person that can handle the responsibility. Unfortunately, you're in the minority.
I would be against inflated registration fees. 250s buy and sell for basically the same...
I disagree that it will 'just discourage people from riding all together'... it will discourage inexperienced people from riding bikes they can't handle until they've had some real world experience. If you want to ride at all, you need to take a basic skills test. If you want to ride a SS, you...
As much as I want to do a SS1000 or other long distance achievement, I have to be honest with myself. I've ridden this 85 mile trip a few times (stock seat, Puig DB screen):
Moved Permanently
I stop once, and when I arrive, there's not much desire to ride. Can't imagine 12 times this length...
Forcing the student to take the course on their own, larger bike is the wrong way. Providing one would be prohibitively expensive, unless the course carried huge fees and insurance.
I would be for getting a junior license that limits the bike somehow (power, size), or has other limitations...
Goodbye ground clearance. I guess when you have ludicrous speed, you don't need to use the stairs to evade the police. :D
I'm not a turbo expert, but I would think a bend that close to the outlet would require a smooth mandrel bend.
Not sure you said it but just to confirm, you're a new rider, correct? I know you said you won't feel whole until it's "perfect" again. But...........
You're a new rider. Still on hard (gasp... original?) rubber? I would first invest in a set of tires for your riding style. Then, focus...
