Hi, guys!
Last two years ignition lock on my FZ6 S2 works very badly. Sometimes it tooks 3-5 minutes to turn a key (I know that it is common problem for most of Yamahas).
I've tried different lubrications but alas nothing worked well...
Since I have US version without immobilizer, I decided to change all three locks (ignition/ fuel tank / under seat). My main point is that I want to have one key for all three locks.
As I've understood if I order three separate locks, there will be three different keys in my case.

Is there any solution? Have somebody face the same problems?

Thank you

The older FJR's had a re-call on the ignition switch.

Initially, Yamaha wasn't re-keying the switch to match the rest of the bike.

After many complaints, Yamaha started rekeying the lock cylinder to match. The switch is virtually the same but has a parking light "spot" to the switch.

It can be done, check with a lock smith or local Yamaha shops...

I'd steer clear of Chinese knock off's.

A used switch may be ok, but you may be in the same boat there after. I'd rather have new OEM..
