FZ6 S2 weird noise coming from sprockets

That OEM, front sprocket is clearly worn out. Once that "plastic" edge starts going away it's time for a new one.

How many miles on the chain and sprockets and as noted above, what measurement do you have the chain adjusted to?

Is the bike "new" to you and do you have an owners manual (for how to adjust the properly)?

And no, that noise isn't normal.. A worn chain and sprockets WILL make all kinds of racket..

Definitely new sprockets and chain needed; the links are hitting the sprocket; indicating that the sprocket has worn excessively deep or the barrels and pins in the chain have worn excessively due to lack of, or incorrect, lubrication and maintenance. Check how much movement there is of the rollers on the barrels. Either way, I would consider it a risk riding with it like that.
