Hi all,
Last night on my way home I hit 50,000 km. Now for some that still makes me a spring chicken and others will say I finally got the motor run in. And I'm ok with all that.
Still, its nice to see those little figures climb and then tumble over.
And before some bright spark says I must have been riding real slow for it to take 8 minutes to ride 1 kilometre-----I'm a very careful rider and no wonder it has taken 7 years to get to this point
Reality, it was Friday night and I stopped in the bottle-o carpark snapped, shopped and then went on my merry way for a bit then did it all again, the snapping bit not the bottle-o!

Congrats, but if you're saying some will say its just broken in then I must be really new. I am just about to click 20K miles in the next month or so. I ride very often, but my commute to work is only a few miles so I don't rack those miles up very fast.

Are we counting the bike overall? Or just what we personally (miles) put on it? 40k here, but only 16k of that is from me.

Overall miles on the bike.

Highest mileage bike I had was a 1989 Kawasaki KLR 250.

The LEFT side main crank bearing needed replacement at 32,000 & 64,000 miles. Sold it at 73,000 miles and still running strong!
