Hi,

I want to change the turn signal relay on my 2004 FZ6S to a led relay, but neither I or my friend can find the relay anywhere on my bike.
According to all YouTube videos and forums I found it should be located by the left side panel.

I lifted off the tank and unscrewed the side panels, but can't see it anywhere. I did notice that the previous owner has installed a quick charge cable to the battery though. Can he had moved the relay because of that?

I'll attach some photos of the cables, taken just now. Any ideas would be highly appreciated! :) IMG_20180210_145503.jpgIMG_20180210_145414.jpgIMG_20180210_145420.jpgIMG_20180210_145434.jpgIMG_20180210_145446.jpgIMG_20180210_145454.jpg

:welcome: to our great forum!
Your flasher relay should be in the front fairing of the bike. On the left side at the bottom of the fairing. Reach from under at the bottom inside. It is mounted in a rubber piece that slides into a tab on the bottom inside of the fairing. You can reach under and slide the rubber assembly upward to remove it off the tab. Then you will be able to let it hang from the bottom of the fairing to swap out to the new flasher unit.
Frustrating because I've seen it listed incorrectly in manuals.

Hi guys, and thanks for your replies!
Actually, after like an hour I found the relay! It was located behind the left rear panel. I too was surprised since I've read that it would be located in the front. One forum suggests that my bike is the EU-model, which could explain the location of the relay. Thanks again for your time and I hope that this thread might help other frustrated owners to look in the right spot :)
