I got the lower fairing direct from the Yamaha dealership. It was about £360 with a 10% discount I managed to wangle out of them. It's Yamaha built and is very similar to the FZ1 fairing. I've downloaded the UK and Spain Yamaha Street motorcycle accessories catalogues from the Internet and they both have the same part numbers and details on the fairing. I've clipped the page out and uploaded it on my Photobucket site here for you:-
Thanks for the thumbs up. I never ride 2up so thats why i did the seat cowl and surprising to me it enhances the look, along with side pods(i took the black sticker off) and painted it red along with the hugger. One thing cosmetically i do say looks great is the lower cowl (that covers the exhaust. I did it cause i hated to keep cleaning the headers over and over.
I just had it suction cupped on at the time. I actually drove about 200miles one day, with just the suction mount on to see if it would hold, and it did. I haven't riden with the GPS unit attached just yet, and probably wouldn't for fear it would detach.
