Just went to a bike night at the local Yamaha dealer. They had a trailer with portable Dynograph in it. $20 later and after watching the CBR 1000 in front of me shoot flames from his exhaust (a little rich on top) my baby was run up and had a grand result of...
89 horsepower! Bone stock!

250 ft of elevation
85 degrees f.
4th gear
Motor was warmed up prior to runs.
This was the average of 2 runs.

So in case anybody was wondering here you go.

The guy can dyno tune a power commander for $200 located here in Central California.

5000 miles on the bike.

I also need to get the throttle bodies aligned.

But it does give us a rough point of reference since every bike is different.

I'm planning on taking my bike in for a PC tuning. I'm sure it can benefit from having a pro tune it up.

Its either that or do it "Seat of the Pants" style. That is how the guy on the dyno in front of me did it and had more smoke out the exhaust than off the tire!

Though Dynojet does have a map for just about every combination out there and are coming up with more all the time.
