Ok so I have me some Motovation sliders and mounted them today after almost tipping the bike to pick up a quarter off the road at a stop light... that would have been worth it. So did you guys/gals keep the stock washer inbetween the slider and frame? I know the supplied washer goes IN the slider with the bolt head, but my right slider seems very close to my frame, like touching I believe and I haven't even torqued it yet. Any suggestions?

I used a stainless steel flat washer between my motivational sliders and the frame. Left a more "comfortable gap".

I looked at it, but decided to just torque them down as is. No reason to add any more leverage (albeit probably negligible) on the frame in the case of a slide.
