Hi,

It's a minor problem but an irritating one and maybe distracting while you’re riding. I have 2 riding jackets. The protection is built in on both of them. My first jacket has mesh pockets to keep them in place.

My other jacket uses a Velcro system for the shoulder and elbows to keep them in place, and I suppose for adjustability. The back protector is in a mesh pocket.

If your protective pads are Velcro in the correct position like my second jacket, don’t remove them. I made the mistake of removing the rubber shoulder and elbow protection to hand wash the jacket. It’s been 4 days of riding and I’ve only managed to place the pads correctly on the right side. The left side is still bothersome.

If you can keep the Velcro stuck pads in the jacket, perfect. Next time, I’m just going to wash the inner liner.

You’ve been warned!!
