God this looks like the most fun.
I have been dreaming about it since I saw the pictures.
I mean actually dreaming about it. Like this morning was there at a waterfall and my bike had a flat front tire and I was trying to figure out how to get to a place to air it up.
I wanna go sooooooo BAD!!!!

Been there....and to all four of the major islands. Too bad they don't ship your bike over there, it would be neat to be able to ride your own bike. I thought about touring for another year or two at least here in the states after getting my bike. If the situation was perfect with logistics and certain vendors, I may have been able to put my bike on the back of one of the show trucks and take it along tour with me. It would have been neat to be able to have my bike out on tour. I could ride it after the show to the next city where there would be a day off between shows. I wouldn't have to worry about luggage because my stuff would be on the tour bus. I would just ride straight from the gig to the hotel. Then I would have a day off to ride in a different city. I remembered when I was out with Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huck Jam a few years ago, our bus driver put his Ninja underneath the bay of our bus. He took apart the handle bars, and that was it. Didn't realize he even had a bike underneath. I finally figured it out after seeing the same motorycycle parked in front of our hotel everytime on our day off. Thought it was some crazy groupie.

Flankly speaking, I reccomend you to go west and south part of Japan in late Spring. Also I strongly recommend you to visit Hokkaido in Summer, if you visit Japan. Because west and south part might be hit by typhoon in Autamun and heavy rainy season at early summer.

Hokkaido will provide great but tiny nature, excellent riding, and extraordinaly fresh Sushi or Sashimi.

(In Kyushu, you can enjoy oyster, fishes ............. Oh! you can have experience Sashimi of Horse meat )

By the way, will it cost $15,000???? ? I should open the office for someone wanna taking trip.

Hi Kumaj san. Do you have any pictures of Japan you could post? It would be neat if you would build a thread about Japan. I know there is a huge bike culture there, and some of the worlds most beautiful land, and gardens. I would appreciate it, and I am sure many other people would as well.

Please give me time to collect pictures I took when I was student(almost 15 years ago). I need to scan the films to PC. These two pics are Hokkaido and FZ1 was driven around Mt. Aso in Kyushu Isle. 4th pic is near by my home ground twisty road around Mt. Fuji.

I haven't taking motor bike long term trip after finish riding through Austlarian outback(Melborn-Ayers rock-Gibson desert and great Victoria desert-Parth)............ Next??? I'll stare "Japan beauty" back again.

Akita prefecture is famous on Hot spring, AKITA (dog; I know some people in western countries loves Akita dog), huge rice farm etc..

Nice pic - I'd love to spend a couple of days in meditation by that stream.

Yes that is an amazing picture. On my last sunday I stoped to take some pictures of waterfalls with a slower shutter speed and the effects are amazing. Infact I think all my pics are of waterfalls that trip, lol.

Amazing pictures. It would be neat to go over there sometime. Take a year or two off and just ride the FZ all over the world. Would be neat and expensive...
