August 2016 BOTM - winner - Smersh

The August 2016 photo contest gallery is up and ready for uploads! Once you click the link below you will see a text hyperlink named "Upload Photo" under the "What's New" link. Click on that to start your upload.

Gallery set up will on the 1st weekend of the month (or as close as we can )
Uploads will be the first 2 weeks of the month
Voting will be enabled on Sunday July 17th
and our winner announced on Wednesday July 27th
The winner's photo will posted on the home page for that month

Rules:
1. No photo shopping please (a little tweaking is fine)
2. This is a family friendly forum, keep it tasteful.
3. It does not have to be an FZ6, but it does have to be your bike to qualify
4. One picture per member can be entered every month, unless you won the previous month. You must wait 2 months before entering again after winning.
5. Members must have legal rights to use, copy and distribute any submission

I've tried posting a pic twice now and it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? I clicked upload pic. Browse and clicked the picture I want. Entered description and title then clicked submit. Any help would be appreciated.

:don'tknow: I just tried too and even though it said it uploaded successfully..............

Yeah, I forgot that part. It said it loaded for me too but it didn't. I will. Thanks

I tried an upload. the first time it told me the file was too large. The second file loaded.. it was smaller..

I just tried another file. It said it was successful but it never uploaded....

I just added a photo successfully. As noted above, I had to reduce the file size in order to get it to load. The original full resolution image would not load.

I changed the software that process the images on the server. Try now and see if you are having issues with the file size..

Thank you Dennis. I tried to upload a picture 2.94 mb . The server told me it was successful but it's not present...

I tried a smaller size picture and was successful uploading it.

I did it! Yippee!!! I made the file size smaller (1.59). Now the question is...can I compete with the competition?!?!?!

That must be what I'm doing wrong! After three attempts I'll try making the file smaller.

I was thinking did I miss the vote? but no I voted and if I could I'd vote again.
