A rider must be the superior rider. Mister Cruiser may as well have had an object like a stone or bug hit him in the eye and distracting hit attention. A lot of money to spend on a film about safety and the rider has no eye protection.

I had a rock that was pinched from the opposite lane once. I tried to evade it because I could see in coming. Nailed me right on the kneecap. Ouch! :(

Although I agree about the riders lack of eye protection amongst other things but the windscreen on his bike acts as a form of eye protection and legally qualifies as such in most states.
