R6 Fork upgrade - brake lines?

Getting ready to install some R6 forks/brakes (09) on my 05 FZ and wanted to know what I need in terms of brake lines? Will my old ones work ok?

They shoud fit fine. R6 forks are 1cm shorter than stock forks.

09 R6S to 06 FZ6, do you have the 09 calipers? The two do not interchange. The 09 is fixed 4 piston pot. The 06 is a floating caliper. I'm not sure about the angle and position of the two as far as the banjo bolt connecting the line to the caliper.

I do know my 08 is a direct fit as the calipers are the same on the 08 FZ6 and the 09 R6S. I am assuming its an "S" you got the forks from?? Like these, conventional, not inverted: 2009 YZFR6S (BLACK METALLIC X) (CA ED.) - YZFR6SYCB Yamaha Motorcycle FRONT FORK Diagram and Parts

Conclusion if its an S, fork and caliper from an 09, I think you need different hose and banjo bolt on at least one side. You'll have to dig in further.

-2007 FZ6 Brake Calipers

All going on an 05 model...

Am I ok if I use my old lines?

If I wanted to upgrade to stainless lines - do I get FZ6 lines or R6 lines?

I have all of the spacers etc as well which I hope work with my wheels (Marchesini for an R6)

If you go with SS lines, get the dual lines (as opposed to the "h" style) for the FZ as they are probably longer and will give more flexibility with routing and such.
