I have a weird problem I am trying to figure out. The audio on my escort x50 no longer works. I use a joiner to bring audio from my gps and my radar together to my earbuds. I use a ground loop isolator on the radar and then that into the joiner. Now I cant get the audio to come through from the radar. I think I need a new ground loop isolator but want to ask here first. Here is what I have tried.

- Joiner works from gps
- ground loop isolator (through joiner) works from my gps
- headphones straight to radar work
- joiner straight from radar doesn't work

* My headphones don't quiet fit directly into the ground loop isolator to check without joiner. Also the wires on ground loop isolator are sensitive so probably needs to be replaced anyways. Just seems odd to me it will work from the gps but not from the radar. I am thinking the reason that the radar through the joiner doesn't work is that it is raising the impedance from just using headphones direct.
