Depends. What mod/aftermarket items do you have drawing power? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe if you have the dual headlight mod you might be very slowly draining your battery at idle.Does sitting at idle kill my battery?
Relatively easy to measure this. You just need a voltage meter and a bit of time.
Read battery voltage with engine off (touch the meter leads to the battery ++/--). Should read somewhere around 12.8.
Start the bike, let it warm up (so RPMs are down to normal operating range) and test the battery again. If the idle number is lower than engine-off number, than yes.. the battery is being drained.
I suck at electrical work, but I think this one is pretty simple
The only hard part is getting to the battery on FZ6, hence the need for a bit of time to do this.
