As long as the battery physically fits, has the same or close Cold Cranking Amps you should be good to go. We can probably assume it is a 12 volt battery.
Quality of components and manufacturing are very important so you might trust a name brand more and shipping a battery back and forth because of warranty might be pricey. I think Cycle Gear gas reasonably priced batteries and with lifetime warranty. They have stores all over.

I just looked up Batteries Plus and they have 3 stores in SD area so if their warranty is as good as Cycle Gear's I might consider it. CG has other bike related stuff though :)

Batteries+ is usually pretty good, and they will build you most any kind of battery that you want as long as its not LiPoly (for insurance reasons). I have been happy with everything i have gotten from them in the past.

I called them last night before they had closed, and they where nice enough to charge it for me for the am pickup.:rockon:
