If I have the Leo Vince SBK Evo II exhaust on my 2005 FZ6, do I have to retune or anything if I install a BMC air filter? Will it damage my bike if I didn't retune?

If you just have a slip on and a drop in air filter, you can probably get away without a tune. The bike is fuel injected and has an O2 sensor, so it will make adjustments to the A/F ratio to help it run better. Just make sure to unhook the positive battery cable to reset the ECU after you are done installing the mods.

That being said, the OEM system has limitations as to how much it will adjust and how fine an adjustment it will make. You would likely benefit from a nice tune if you decided to spend the extra dough.

2005 model doesn't have a O2 sensor, i have a Leo and K&N filter and use a PC3. I notice a big difference when i load the standard map.The bike sure wants a bit more fuel!
