NJMP AMA Racing weekend - Sept 7/8

I went last year and it was awesome! Anyone going this year?
If we get a group of 20 or more, we can get 20% off on tickets (though I bet we can get deals through dealers anyway).

What time are you coming down? And are we riding there?:thumbup:

I was planning on going with my dad. Let me know if we have enough because I would be good for 2

Yeah, hope to ride down there (my wife may want to go and she may not wanna ride.. we'll see when we get closer to it).

I'll probably want to get there around 10-10:30.

Sunday is the better day.. probably just 1.

Bump. Who's in and which day is better? (I know motojoe mentioned Saturday works better for him).

I will be riding down.. probably 2-up.

Take a look at the map: Hillsborough to NJMP via Joe's house

It's adding a whole hour to the route. I'd like to get to the park by 10 or so and there is no way my wife will be happy about the prospect of leaving the house at 7

Also I'll likely have another rider joining us (you've met Dave.. he was riding a Suzuki DS.. it was that ride we did when we found a cool old windmill).

Looking at the schedule for Saturday, I don't really see the need to get there before noon:

Yeah, moto dealers, but honestly I don't know if there are deals out there to be had

Ticket is a bit pricey at $35 and it's another $5 for motorcycle parking (or $10 for VIP parking inside the track).

Change of plans.. Joe's not going and 2 of my friends can go on Sunday, so Sunday's the day now. 1st race starts at 12:30. I'll probably try to get there around noon.

I'm thinking about joining in on this trip. I'll probably bring my girlfriend too. So count me in for 2 tickets, unless I need to buy them myself. Also, when and where to meet?

At this point it's highly unlikely that we'll get 20 people signed on. So we might as well all buy tickets ourselves. Cheaper online than at the gate.
Let's give it to next week to see if anyone else is going and then decide on where and when to meet (ride down together if it makes sense or just meet there)

Looking at the schedule, I think I want to get there around 12 (only practice going on before then).
