2006 FZ6 for sale. NJ. LOTS of extras! Updated info and photos.

I bought this black and blue FZ6 brand new in 2007 as a left over model. Rode 22,836 miles mostly while touring and commuting. Very well maintained, adult owned and ridden, never crashed and always garaged. Excellent mechanical condition and very good cosmetic condition. The bike has extensive mods to maximize safety, comfort and performance – it looks and performs like a completely different bike compared to a stock FZ6. I intended to keep this bike for a LONG time, but recently decided I need a larger sport tourer to fit my riding style. The bike is located in central NJ.

ENGINE MODS
Akrapovic titanium exhaust
Arrow mid-pipe (cat delete)
Stock header and Arrow mid-pipe professionally refinished with a flat black ceramic coating
Power commander w/ a CUSTOM tune (dynoed at 112HP)
K&N air filter
Open airbox mod
EGR delete with Graves Motorsports block-off plates
Recently synced throttle bodies
Recently changed spark plugs
Synthetic oil change every 3000 mi / 3 months
Recent coolant flush and fill

LIGHTING/ELECTRICAL MODS
Dual bi-xenon headlight conversion (high and low beams!)
High end LED turn signals front and rear
Custom LED tailight (very bright)
Solid state flasher unit
Stebel Nautilus air horn
Centech distribution block
12V electrical outlet

SUSPENSION/BRAKES MODS
Hyperpro fork springs (1.25" reduction in seat height)
Hyperpro rear spring (1.25" reduction in seat height)
EBC brake pads front and rear
Steel braided brake lines front and rear
Conti Road Attack II tires (plenty left)
New steering head bearing

COMFORT/ERGOS MODS
Ottimoto adjustable racing rear sets!
CRG adjustable and folding brake and clutch levers
Gear position indicator w/shift light
Puig sport windscreen (light smoke)
Heated grips
Shaved stock seat (1" reduction in seat height)

DRIVETRAIN/BODY MODS
RK 520 chain (very recent)
RK front and rear sprockets (very recent)
SW-Motech quick-lock sideracks (takes 2 min to remove when you dont need them)
Givi 45L sidecases
Fender eliminator
3M clear film on the tank
Carbon fiber tank pad
Motovation frame sliders

The bike has misc scuffs and scratches from normal use. Minor marks on the right side plastics from a stationary tip over (the frame sliders prevented more damage). A tiny ding on the front top part of the tank from me dropping a wrench on it. The banjo bolts on the brake calipers are rusting. Overall the bike looks shiny and very attractive - it draws attention wherever I go. To the best of my knowledge the bike is mechanically SOLID. The only exception is a squealing noise that comes from the rear brake when engaged. I will post more photos in the next few days. Price $3500.

Fresh photos - taken today. I forgot to mention that the bike would be perfect for shorter riders. I am 5'7 and have a 30" inseam. I can flat foot the bike while wearing sport riding boots.

The bike is shown with the sideracks in all photos. For those unfamiliar with the SW-Motech sideracks: they can be removed without a trace or re-installed within minutes.

The bike does just fine with the large cases; even when fully loaded. You can tell they're there yet still lean hard and all.

I really like this bike a lot. Don't care that much about the mods, but the Givi cases are nice.

It has to many miles on the clock for me, but maybe you will get lucky and somebody will buy it.
