How is comfort level compared to fz6?

I owned an 06' Ninja 650r and I really enjoyed it. The FZ6 is slightly more comfortable but I honestly think they both were great. The seat on the 650r was a little more narrow so easier to flat foot for shorties.

I put 30k on a 650R before the FZ6, great bike and a total riot around town due to that motor, which manages to be torquey and love to rev.

650R is probably a bit more comfortable if you are 5'8" or less, with the FZ6 getting the nod for taller riders. I'm 5'10" and put the Kawi tall seat on my 650R to gain some legroom.

Like others have said, the 650R is definitely lower in terms of seat heights compared to the FZ6. I've ridden both of these bikes and I honestly like them both! They both have upright seating positions and comfy ergonomics.
