10/1 Group Ride

Starting a new thread, since we canceled 9/24 ride and it's confusing to plan next ride in this thread.

Riding in NJ/PA.. 4-6 hours depending on what everyone wants to do. Starting in central NJ at about 10:30.

Who's in?

Im in.....again, work pending, but looks better for that weekend. Hopefully, I will get the riding pants I won on fleabay by friday and the hvmp bar ends.:rockon::thumbup:

damn i got work on sat at 4...if i come i gotta leave kinda early..wheres the starting point? so i can get a rough idea how long it will take me

Suggested route (chances are I won't be able to keep it exactly like that anyway.. GPS will surely freak out somewhere). We can adjust it as we go.

Let's keep start time at about 10:30. MotoJoe has something like 140 miles to cover just to get to the starting point.

All bikes are welcome as long as everyone wears proper riding gear.

I plan to ride at legal speeds.. no squid behavior.

We'll definitely stop somewhere for food and I'll have snacks for everyone too.

No chance of traveling north east toward NYC eh? :BLAA:
Seems the mid-NJ gang is the closest there is to me w/ a strong following...

. Right as always, and sadly no compromise, as the NJ near me (and where I work and frequent - Weehawken/Hoboken/Newark) are no picnic to ride in either... :banghead:

I'm less than 10 miles directly east of Manhattan but am heading down to the starting point. It's only about a 45 minute ride if there's no traffic. Worth it!

I have about a 2 to 2.5 hour ride up to starting point.

A 45 to an hour ride would be a piece of cake, keep in mind, I cover 400 to 500 miles on these rides.

Sweep the leg! No mercy! HAhahahahaha J/K Of course.

If we're both able to do the next ride I'd be happy to head down there with you. It's not exciting roads (Parkway to 78 to 206) but you won't get lost. Have fun with the little one.
