RIP Ken Wootton - Aussie Motorcycle journalist legend

Former AMCN editor, Australian motorcycling sport legend and even former "Pinky" rider, Ken Wootton has passed away during a family holiday in Europe.

I fondly remember searching every AMCN issue for the "Where's Woose" in the blue bucket hat. I even shouted it out to him at Philip Island one year - he had a good laugh about it.

RIP Ken Wootton.

You were a legend and an all round good bloke.

Far out, was just watching the Aussie Supers last night, and listening to Ken's commentary! Bloody hell, life is short, and can be taken away so quickly, and with a sudden-ness that is sometimes very humbling!

AMCN has never been quite as good since Ken finished as editor....it's just been missing something....

I still have a bit of Ken's sense of humour in my shed...that bloody hot pink fairing!

And i do remember him telling me that he hoped i was a slow old bugger like him, if i was gonna ride Pinky on the track.....i dont think there was ever any danger of me doing anything else... lol!

sad day for Australian Motorcycing....the "Pink Rhino' has gone!
