I found this a little bit ago and thought it looked and sounded very familiar. It's from a 1997 Tokyo moto show as a concept.:rockon:

"We're not sure if this is a race-bike or a street-bike. The FZ600 is billed as a "naked street-fighter that's ready to rock 'n' roll," but is shown with slicks and no headlight. One thing's for sure, with Nissin six-pots, inverted forks, and an Ohlins shock, this beauty is bad-ass."

It sure is pretty.
I like seeing the engine on the bike. I think our twin spar controlled fill diecast frame is great though.

Yep, it's neat how 7 years of technological advancement can refine a rough concept into something that is out in real world that people can access. Now I'm not saying that this "FZ600" is a direct concept of what we ride today but I'd be willing to bet it was the inspiration for the FZ6.
