So you read on here, you learn at the course, but nothing really prepares you for that first fall. Luckly all I hurt was my pride. I am getting ready for a ride later this afternoon and I decide that it would be a good idea to wash the bike. I pull out of the garage like I do every other day and move onto the dirt back ally, but I then turn to go into my driveway (dirt/sand onto gravel). As you can tell - not the greatest surface for a two wheeler, but I have not had any problems to date and decide to use the engine to help me down the drive. As I make the turn I let the clutch out a little to much and down we go. Thank goodness for frame sliders. So two lessons - be carefule, so careful, on these types of surfaces and walk the bike as much as possible...and...buy frame sliders as your first add on. Safe riding out there.
